“A creative multi-genre breakfast of champions, combining the best bits from punk, electronica, French house, trance and rock, bringing it together to create a sound that’s going to see Foals cowering in a corner behind Soulwax” – BBC 6 Music

“More hooks than Abu Hamza in velcro. There’s swagger, there’s verve, the complete package” Absolute Radio

“Twanging guitarmongery, full of dumbpunk swagger” – NME

“A certain amount of English charm and English grit” Amazing Radio

“This band have the ability to craft addictive melodies while crossing genres” Fred Perry Subculture

In terms of influences, there’s a bit of a journey to cover but it goes a little something like this… if Foals & Radiohead went out for a few drinks but bumped into Everything Everything and LCD Soundsystem on the way, you’d get part of the picture. Thing is, on the way back they stumbled into Ryan Adams & Patrick Watson in the kebab shop who were having a deep & meaningful conversation over a Chicken Doner about the illicit relations between Elbow and Queens of the Stone Age. It had all been a tremendous affair and got a lot of people worryingly aroused, including Soulwax, The Beatles, Muse, Bombay Bicycle Club and Darwin Deez

Following critically aclaimed 7 track EP ‘Fashion’, Centrefolds (based in Bath, UK) grabbed the attention of BBC Introducing, NME, BBC 6 Music, Absolute Radio, Fred Perry Subculture, BBC Radio 2 and Hype Machine. With appearances at Glastonbury Festival, support to major national bands throughout the UK and airplay worldwide already in their back pockets there is no doubt Centrefolds have made their mark on the music industry. Inspired by elements they love from the guitar world and the electronic one in equal measures whilst combining massive pop hooks, palpitating beats, raw and angular guitars with hypnotic synths and dreamy textures have enabled Centrefolds the ability to feed your ears with their blend of ‘anglo-Indie-dance-punk-euphoric-neon-pop-rock’

Centrefolds have played throughout the UK headlining and supporting major national acts (The 1975, Dutch Uncles, The Crookes, The Coronas, The Family Rain, All The Young & Toploader) at some of the following venues and festivals; Glastonbury Festival, Lechlade Festival, Bath International Music Festival, Bristol Harbourside Festival, The Thekla (Bristol), The Fleece (Bristol), The Thunderbolt (Bristol), Louisiana (Bristol), Barfly (London), The 100 Club (London), Camden Rock (London), Dublin Castle (London), Clapham Grand (London), The Enterprise (London), Moles (Bath), The Nest (Bath)
